Welcome to Bute Space In June 2008 Bute Space Gallery & Studios opened its doors for the first time with a vision of providing a much needed platform for new and emerging artists and designers. In our first year we are proud to say we have exceeded even our own expectations by gaining a reputation of one of Wales' premier gallery spaces. We pride ourselves on a regular and varied programme of successful exhibitions and have to date exhibited work from over 200 artists and designers, along the way receiving regular media coverage both locally and nationally. In January this year the gallery was further elevated in to the limelight through a feature on ITV Wales News. In return, we are also attracting a wealth of well established artists who regularly exhibit in the gallery. Combined with our carefully selected up-and-coming artists (for which we have scoured the length and breadth of the country!) we have created an ethos of 'Art by All, for All'. The atmosphere in the gallery is friendly and welcoming. Whether you are an avid collector or looking to invest in one of our up-and-coming artists (We like to say 'Buy them, whilst they are still affordable!') or even if you just wish to come and enjoy the show, our gallery assistants are always on hand and happy to advise. We are re-locating!

Bute Space offers an in interest free collector plan which enables you to purchase a piece of art and spread the cost over monthly payments completely interest free.
Bute Space, Cardiff Bay is now closed for relocation, but we look forward to seeing you again in our new venue due to open Autumn 2009.
