"As I usually paint pictures of industrial scenes connected with the landscape of the South Welsh Valleys, the notion of an exhibition on a nautical/ maritime theme represents something of a departure for me. However, I rose to the challenge and these paintings are the result of this remit."
Mark Williams studied at Newport College of Art in the 1980's. He has worked as a technical draughtsman/ Illustrator and has exhibited and sold work at the GBF Gallery, Newport, The Washington Gallery, Penarth, The Great Atlantic Gallery, Monmouth and at the BBC building in Llandaf. Mark's oil paintings are noted for their bright colour schemes and quirky sense of humour.
